"UNTIL DEATH DO US APART" PART 1.5" HOLY SHIT! These El Diablo pickups are insane!  And now I'm scared......!  I'm not sure of CT is ready for the brutal sounds that these things make! I just got them put in the Silver Sparkley Guitar over the weekend, kinda a Xmas present to myself, even though we had about 14 inches or so it didn't stop me from making the trek out to Southington, CT to pick up my guitars! Once I got to the shop Justin, the guy who does most of my work looked at me and said "do you know how lucky you are to be able to get these pickups? they scream!". I didn't even hear them yet to already know that things things were going to be amazing. When I got home they were even more then I expected them to be, ..and that was just by plugging into my Peavy Backstage amp! I can't wait until the first show of 2009 @ Murphy & Scarlettis to let these things rip the heads off of everyone at the show! Other work that I got done that day consists of the following: Flame Guitar - received a custom setup and new Schaller Bridge which is a solidbody guitar bridge with attached tailpiece. The assembly has height-adjustable threaded mounting studs and anchor bushings. Saddles are individually adjustable for intonation, sounds bad ass huh? It is! The Silver Sparkly received the same custom setup with a Schaller Bridge and El Diablo Pickups. The Tattoo guitar got two brand new Seymour Duncan pickups, SH1 59 in the neck and an SH13 Dimebucker in the bridge. The Jackson JJ5 Sunburst guitar got an upgraded bridge custom wound for pickup for Scott Ian  in 1997 and a SH1 59 in the neck. More work is on the way. I still have to setup the Black JJ1 and order more El Diablo pickups from Maricela. Oh yeah... I got a new Black JJ1 I just couldn't resist. So a few more adjustments to my gear including the BBE Sonic Maximizer and the DTR 1000 tuner and I am ready to take on 2009! PS Can't wait for Xmas day this year, my beloved Celtics are taking on the Lakers, we are on a 18 game winning streak soon to be 19 coming into Los Angeles to face our old time rivals! PSS if the Celtics win I win a brand new Rondo jersey!  Music and Basketball for 2009! Cheers!
