"UNTIL DEATH DO US APART" PART 2.1"
2009 and I am starting the
first show of the year off without my Silver Sparkley!!!! I'm
pissed!!! As it turns out the guitar had some fret issues, so I sent it
out to Doug in South Salem to NY to hook it up! Doug is one of the best
Lutheriens around having worked for all the major guitar companys.
I
always feel good when I have a pro working on my babies, the only bad news
is that guitar won't be ready for about 3 weeks,
ughhh......
However, tonights show will be featuring
the debut of my new JJ2 guitar which brings to the table is own share of
destruction, two El Diablo Pick Ups  and the
Kill Switch, or as it has been also called the Jew Button. 
I'll be rocking this out for the first time tonight at Allstar in
Manchester, CT. Now the guitar does have a few bugs that need to be worked
on so I'll probably just use it for a song or two, then again.... if all
is going well I might just rock it all night! 
DIRTY
It appears that we finally have
a new singer! After months and months of looking we believe we have
stubbled onto someone that will totally fit what the Dirty Cover Band is
all about. Nothing is official yet so I'm not going to say who the
person is, but we are having a lunch meeting with him (yes a him) tomorrow
afternoon to work out some of the details. It's very exciting to think of
the possiblity of bringing in someone that is talented, fresh, and
professional. This will also mean an entire new set of songs for 2009!
 Yay!!!
Spoiler: He might be performing a song or two
with us tonight at Allstars (Manchester, CT). So if your at the show...
you might just know before everyone else! Sweet!
